Symptom : TimeZero will crash as soon as it completes its loading screen
Conditions : This only effects TimeZero V4 running on Windows 11 latest version (24H2)
Solution : Apply manual fix as follows
- Make sure TimeZero is not running
- Download patch file via this link : TZV4 Win11 Fix.zip
- Unzip the file and open the extracted folder
- Right Click and Copy the “GpuEngine.dll” file
- Locate the appropriate folder based on your version of TimeZero
- For TZ Navigator : go to C:\Program Files (x86)\TimeZero\Recreational
- For TZ Professional : go to C:\Program Files (x86)\TimeZero\Professional
- Right Click and Paste the “GpuEngine.dll” file into this location
- This will overwrite the existing file
- If you get a message pop up, select “Replace File”
You can now start TimeZero like normal
